Experience the kind of visualisation and management that only an award-winning technology can deliver.

Axo33 STOCKYARDS™ is an accurate digital twin product developed using multiple 3D modelling techniques, providing redundancy and allowing material tracking of your stockpile operations. It builds a real-time model of each stockpile and then continuously enhances the visualisation with lasers located on each reclaimer.

The best part? Deploy only what you need with our modular, customised products.

Optimum stockyard performance

Enhanced visualisation

Get rich visualisations of the stockyard, stockpile and individual machines including a 30-day playback and suite of real-time and historical reports that show actual and projected performance.

Experience the power of scenario planning for greater confidence in the future. Analyse capacity, identify potential collisions and play forward each stockpile over a future period.

Optimum stockyard performance

Connect with your port logistics systems

Complete integration for optimised instructions

Increase throughput via integration with third-party logistics systems. Deploy customisable algorithms integrated with your control system, to enable machine learning and optimisation for any shape or size of stockpile. Have your operator directly select each job and task to automatically include optimised machine-level instructions. Reduce stress on machines by tuning and modifying to your requirements.

FAQs

Is the stockyard management system the same as a digital twin for the stockyard?

Axo33 STOCKYARDS™ deploys digital twin-like technology, with its theoretical model providing a powerful extra layer of analysis to rid irrelevant data and refine the volumetric model over time. This typically means a much smaller investment in hardware and heavier assets.

How do you ensure that scope and costs do not blow out when delivering automation engineering projects?

Our Axo33 Smart Automation Products represent a 35 year investment in bringing smart technology to materials handling. The combination of domain knowledge – a deep understanding of the mining industry and machine automation – and allocating the right engineers with the appropriate expertise means we can confidently deliver projects efficiently.

Why would we choose to work with MRA for our automation engineering?

MRA is the only Australian engineering company that has both deep domain expertise in bulk materials handling, as well as a suite of intelligent software designed to create greater visibility and performance over your operations. The combination enables you to improve safety and efficiency quickly, and to continuously improve over time.

MRA's Smart Stockyard Management System boosts mine-to-port efficiency

Along the coast of Queensland is the Port of Abbot Point, where deep water is nearest to land. To reach the deep water from the stockyard, a conveyor carries coal along a 2.75 kilometre trestle jetty out to the wharf. With an export capacity of 50 million tonnes per annum, this is Australia’s northernmost coal port. The stockyard can store more than two million tonnes of coal, which is arranged in 30 stockpiles averaging 180 metres long, managed by six stacker reclaimers.

Stacker reclaimers are traditionally manually operated or semi-automated, while more modern machines include PLC based automation that allows for de-manning.
